LINCOLN, Neb. (Aug. 21, 2026) – Nebraska Public Media’s “Big Red Wrap-Up” television sports series kicks off with a preview of what to expect from head football coach Matt Rhule and the Big Red as they prepare for the first game against Ohio.
Beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 1, viewers can watch “Big Red Wrap-Up” at 7 and 10 p.m. CT on Nebraska Public Media or stream it on the new Nebraska Public Media Sports YouTube channel and the PBS app. The series is also live online at nebraskapublicmedia.org/live and on the Nebraska Public Media app.
The Sept. 1 episode will include a preview of week one preparations with Cameron Robertson, sports director at the “Athens Messenger,” who will join the discussion from Ohio via Zoom.
Each week, series host Mike’l Severe and former Husker and NFL defensive end Jay Moore will be joined by either recruiting expert Sean Callahan or former Nebraska linebacker Jay Foreman, along with special guests from the world of Nebraska sports. Every episode offers highlights of the big plays, a breakdown of the most recent game and the latest on Husker recruiting.
For the Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT live broadcasts, viewers can submit their questions to the panel by calling 800-676-5446 between 7 and 8 p.m. CT, emailing bigred@nebraskapublicmedia.org or by using Facebook and X.
