CANCELLED: ‘Backyard Farmer’ Live from Garden June 18
LINCOLN, Neb. (June 18, 2024) – Nebraska Public Media’s “Backyard Farmer” television series recording tonight, Tuesday, June 18 at the “Backyard Farmer” Garden on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus has been canceled due to inclement weather being in the forecast.
The longest running, locally produced television series in the nation, “Backyard Farmer” airs on Nebraska Public Media Thursdays at 7 p.m. through September. It repeats at 10 a.m. CT Saturdays on Nebraska Public Media and at 4 p.m. Sundays and 5 p.m. Mondays on Create.
The “Backyard Farmer” website at byf.unl.edu features more about the series and its Facebook page also includes announcements and other garden information. In addition, past features and episodes are available for viewing on the program’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/backyardfarmer and as a free podcast.
“Backyard Farmer” is a co-production between Nebraska Public Media and Nebraska Extension.
