We are packing our bags for a road trip from June 6-11, 2024. Join us for events in Grand Island, Kearney, Lexington, and Hastings!

Meet Alma from Alma's Way at PBS KIDS events in Grand Island, Lexington, Hastings and Kearney. Celebrate public art in Grand Island with art activities and a free screening of The Magic of Murals. Be part of the audience for Backyard Farmer Live at Hastings College!

All activities are free and open to the public.

Join us for a fun family workshop as we explore critical thinking through arts education with Alma from Alma’s Way!

Art Activities & Scavenger Hunt

5:30 p.m. – Guided public art walking tour (limited space, first-come)

Explore the art that beautifies Grand Island’s Railside district. Talk with local artists, meet Alma from Alma’s Way and complete a public art scavenger hunt to get a special prize.

Drop by anytime, or meet at 5:30pm for an approximately one-hour guided walking tour of the sculptures and murals in Railside (limited space available, first-come).

In case of inclement weather, the art activities and scavenger hunt will be canceled. Attendees can explore local art between the family event and screening at Studio 10 (112 W. Third St.).

Join us as we explore Nebraska’s modern artistic landscape across many communities, including Grand Island!
