Cathy Bradberry brings a collaborative leadership style and national radio experience to Nebraska Public Media.

Our new radio network director brings more than 20 years of public radio experience in storytelling, community engagement and broadcast journalism to her role in Nebraska.

Cathy Bradberry began her career as a weekend board operator at South Carolina Public Radio in Columbia and worked her way up through the public media industry.

In addition to her experience producing fresh, engaging local radio stories, she has managed national radio productions such as NPR’s Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz and American Popular Song with Michael Feinstein.

“As a leader, I believe in fostering an environment of collaboration, empathy, and innovation – where every voice is heard, and every idea is valued,” explained Bradberry.

Most recently, she worked at NPR member station WUGA in Athens, Ga.
