'Friday LIVE' Returns to Lincoln Haymarket for Monthly Broadcasts

Brewing up live arts and conversation, the monthly broadcast returns to The Mill starting Sept. 5.
Nebraska Public Media’s Friday LIVE arts and entertainment radio show returns to The Mill Coffee and Tea in Lincoln's Haymarket for a live broadcast on the first Friday of each the month, starting Friday, Sept. 5.
"We’re so excited to come back to our broadcast home at The Mill. Whether it’s the coffee or the energy from the live audience, shows at The Mill are always so much fun!" said Friday LIVE host Genevieve Randall.
The public is invited and encouraged to come early, grab something to eat and drink and find their seat before the show starts at 10 a.m. CT! Friday LIVE can also be heard each Friday on Nebraska Public Media’s News/Classical radio channel at NebraskaPublicMedia.org/live or on the Nebraska Public Media App.
The Sept. 5 show features:
- Nebraska Chamber Players – Artistic Director Becky Van de Bogart and Joyce Besch will discuss their new season
- Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series – Brooke Goedert from Nebraska Innovation Campus and ALLO’s Dave Miller discuss the series
- WallSpace-LNK – Writer, artist and comic creator Bob Hall talks about this career retrospective exhibition
On the weekly show, Randall also shares the latest news about music, arts, literature and cultural events happening around the state.
