The March 21 event invited families to learn, create and give back through everyday acts of kindness.

At our special event on March 21, Nebraska families met Daniel Tiger, watched Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood on a gigantic TV, explored emotions, made paper bag puppets and kindness loops, visited a Lincoln City Library book pop-up and decorated Welcome Boxes for the Food Bank of Lincoln. Be My Neighbor Day! at Nebraska Public Media was a chance for children and families to explore what it means to be a caring neighbor - through everyday moments of kindness and connection.
