From September 7-11, 2017, wetook a Southeast Nebraska road trip to visit Beatrice, Crete and Nebraska City, hosting events in each community.
We held a preview screening of the newest movie from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, "King Daniel for the Day," and Katerina Kittycat from the show also made a special appearance and took pictures with many of the guests.
The next morning, we held a Town Talk at Doane University with community leaders and our leadership to discuss the issues important to Crete.
Following the Town Talk, guests were treated to a broadcast of Friday LIVE - our arts and humanities radio show. Friday LIVE was broadcast from Whitcomb Lee Conservatory at Doane University with featured interviews and performers from the Crete area.
