From June 9 - June 15, we took a Western Nebraska road trip to visit North Platte, Scottsbluff, Gering, Alliance, Chadron and Valentine, hosting events in each community.
On June 13, we held a screening of selected segments from the television series Nebraska Stories, featuring local stories at the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center in Chadron.
On June 14, we hosted a Town Talk at the Bean Broker with community leaders and our leadership to discuss the issues important to Chadron. Following the Town Talk was a recording of Friday LIVE featuring interviews and performers from the Chadron area. Later in the day was a PBS KIDS event featuring Jet Propulsion of the PBS Kids show Ready Jet Go! at the Chadron State College Child Development Center.
