Nebraska Public Media packed its bags for a road trip to Northeast Nebraska from April 20-22, 2023, and visited Fremont, Columbus, Wayne, West Point, Omaha and Valley.
The trip featured:

Be part of the live audience for our weekly arts and entertainment radio show from Wayne State’s Ley Theatre. Featuring performances from the Wayne State College (WSC) mariachi band Negro y Oro, the WSC Chamber Choir, WSC music department chair and pianist Angela Miller-Niles with singer Sarah Farr and singer-songwriter Mark Brewer of the Ponca-based band Prodigal Sons. FREE Drive-In Movie Night: Classic Car Love Stories
A special screening of Classic Car Love Stories at the Quasar Drive-In. Our newest local documentary shares the passions of car enthusiasts who can’t resist weekends spent tinkering with the nostalgia of a four-wheeled friend.
Gates open at 5 p.m. for a Classic Car Show & Shine, and the film begins at dusk. Come early to show off your vintage roadster or to admire amazing autos from many eras. Full-service hot food and concessions will be available for purchase (view menu). Registration is for one vehicle; additional vehicles should register separately.
