From May 29 - June 3, 2019, we took a Western Nebraska road trip to visit Chadron, Alliance, Scottsbluff, Gering, Mitchell, Sidney, Lewellen, Ogallala and Brule, hosting events in each community.
On June 2, we hosted a premiere screening of Small Town Cops - our new documentary about the unique challenges that local law enforcement face in small town Nebraska. Following the screening, News senior producer Bill Kelly hosted a panel discussion with local law enforcement leaders.
On June 3, we conducted a Town Talk at Slow Lane with community leaders and our leadership to discuss the issues important to Ogallala.
Later that day, families and friends were invited to a screening of the new Ready Jet Go! movie One Small Step. Jet Propulsion even made a special appearance and took photos with guests.
We wrapped up its visit in Ogallala at the Keith County Senior Center with a How To: Video Streaming Workshop to learn how to utilize our free video streaming services, as well as how to access Passport.
