From May 31 - June 3, 2018, we took a Central Nebraska road trip to visit Broken Bow, Lexington, McCook and Kearney, hosting events in each community.
On June 2, we held a screening at Yanney Heritage Park of the movie from Peg + Cat, Peg + Cat Save the World, and Peg and Cat from the show also made a special appearance and took pictures with many of the guests.
Later that afternoon, we also broadcast the Shrine Bowl of Nebraska High School Football game.
On June 3, we hosted a live taping of the weekly garden program Backyard Farmer. Guests had the opportunity to meet their favorite gardening experts and watch the process of making the television show.
We completed our road trip with a premiere screening of Follow the Water - a new documentary exploring where our water comes from and why we should care. Photographer Michael Forsberg, videographer Pete Stegen and Nebraska Public Media producer Christine Lesiak were in attendance to answer audience questions.
