From Sept. 26 – Oct. 2, we took a Central Nebraska road trip to Ord, Neligh, O’Neill, St. Paul and York hosting events in each community.
On Sept. 26, we hosted an NPR Generation Listen Listening Party at Chances “R” in partnership with York Young Professionals group.
On Oct. 1, we hosted a PBS KIDS Family Event at the Kilgore Memorial Library where families met Clifford the Big Red Dog.
In the afternoon, we hosted an “Town Talk” at Captain Red Beard’s Café with community leaders and our leadership to discuss the issues important to York.
That evening, we hosted a live broadcast of Big Red Wrap-Up at the Holthus Convention Center. Guests were greeted with a special appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog and then had the opportunity to watch the process of making the television show.
