Video Production Specialist

This position is responsible for operating an EVS replay system during national sports productions, as well as Technical Directing (TD) multi-camera productions. They will operate video mixers (TD) and Studio/Remote cameras, shoot single camera productions and edit. Ability to direct studio productions is a plus.

Business Development Representative

Nebraska Public Media is seeking 2 (two) experienced salespersons to represent the entire Nebraska Public Media portfolio, including Radio, Television, and Digital Underwriting Sales (Advertising), Event Sponsorships and Local Production Partnerships. These positions will have the opportunity to work out of our Lincoln, NE office, or remotely in another location, as appropriate. Account interaction will be over the phone, over Zoom, and may require occasional travel to visit with clients around the state of Nebraska as needed using company car. Job responsibilities include: develop strategic sales relationships with existing and prospective clients; create, present and close multi-platform sponsorship opportunities; help clients meet content and production requirements and deadlines through account management; achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals; provide reporting, and attend meetings as necessary. Director of Information Technology

Nebraska Public Media is looking for a Director of IT to join our team. The Director of IT should be a hands-on manager who will provide technological leadership to include research, planning and adopting emerging computing and communication technologies in support of Nebraska public media, a state-of-the-art telecommunications facility serving Nebraska.
Responsibilities include oversight of hardware, software and infrastructure; development and execution of policies, budget, and strategy; planning and implementation of IT projects; and contract management. Manages team responsible for implementing and supporting various platforms. This is a mission essential position that requires work on-site. To be successful in this critical role requires self-motivation, a strong work ethic and can do attitude. The candidate must be interested in continued learning and be proactive in seeking ways to utilize technology in support of business initiatives.

The Director of Production Services at Nebraska Public Media, Nebraska’s PBS and NPR station is responsible for the full gamut of production resources—state-of-the-art equipment and in-house professional staff for studio, EFP, OB (outside broadcast trucks) for station and contract productions for local, regional, and national distribution. The On Air Host under general supervision, researches, writes and produces feature stories and programs for Nebraska Public Media; produces and announces an on-air shift for radio; performs related work as assigned.
