Nebraska Public Media is hiring a part-time radio announcer who has an engaging on-air presence, the ability to smoothly operate an audio board, and write and deliver effective copy. Under limited supervision, research, produces, and announces an on-air shift for Nebraska Educational Telecommunications; performs related work as assigned. If you have a strong voice, an eagerness to learn, and an appreciation for public radio, please apply.
Must be able to work weeknight and weekend hours. However, we welcome applications even from those who can't commit to all listed hours.

The primary duties of this role will include: Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies for a portfolio of donors. Create and implement strategies for donor qualification. Prepare written proposals, informational materials, endowment agreements, and gift illustrations. Maintain a working knowledge of planned gift vehicles and contribute to strategies that support planned gift fundraising. Assist the Director of Major and Planned Giving and the Chief Strategy Officer in department activities to attain foundation goals and participate in organization planning and development. This role is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, repairing, and monitoring radio studio equipment, as well as maintaining related documentation. The technician will develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules, set up and operate remote production equipment for both in-studio and field broadcasts, and serve as a field engineer. Additional responsibilities include responding to operational issues and outages on an on-call basis and training radio staff in the use of studio hardware and software.
