Create, produce, write, and edit complex and in-depth multi-platform enterprise journalism for Nebraska Public Media News. Media content can include producing programs, segments, long and short form news stories for television, radio, and digital audiences. Strong writing and original storytelling skills and organizational skills are vital to this position. Position will perform single camera productions without direction and shoot more complex single camera productions. Primary responsibilities are Broadcast based productions, but there may be an opportunity to work on 360 video productions. The Senior Videographer/Editor will have the ability to produce programming at a higher level and have the opportunity to produce their own segments. This position will assist with training and equipment purchase decisions. Knowledge of production equipment, such as Drones, 360 VR cameras, DSLR cameras, 360 cameras, sliders, Gimbals and Jibs would be beneficial.

The manager will be responsible for researching new technologies, ensuring that the EFP staff has the necessary equipment to excel in their roles. Additionally, this position will coordinate efforts between the Media Archivist and content creators to establish consistent metadata standards and efficient asset management practices. The manager will collaborate with the Production Services Specialist to determine production needs, assist with scheduling EFP/Editing personnel and resources, and work with Producers and Directors to ensure proper workflows and resource allocation. Maintenance responsibilities include keeping equipment in good working condition, installing software updates, and working with IT Staff to maintain Avid systems. They will also oversee operational expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
