Nebraska Public Media is building a new daily talk show designed to inform, engage, and connect Nebraskans through timely conversations on news, public affairs, culture, education, health, and issues affecting communities across the state. This show will be produced for both radio and digital platforms, with a focus on strong storytelling, thoughtful interviews, audience engagement, and content that reflects the interests and needs of Nebraska audiences.
To support this new initiative, Nebraska Public Media is hiring a team of content professionals who will help shape, produce, host, report, and distribute daily talk show content. Each position will play a key role in launching and sustaining the program, while working collaboratively across radio, news, digital, and production teams.
The Talk Show Senior Producer/Host will serve as the lead voice and editorial driver of the daily talk show. This position will host live and recorded programs, guide the show’s editorial direction, develop topics and guests, shape the overall sound and style of the program, and supervise staff supporting the show’s production and related content.
