Bryan Health officials say that despite the strain of COVID-19, employee morale is good.

Bryan recently completed its employee engagement survey, which they say showed employees are engaged and feel safe at work.

John Woodrich is CEO of Bryan Medical Center. He said he’s proud of the results and of Bryan staff.

“Our providers, our physicians in this community, the employees, have stepped to the plate," Woodrich said. "They’re proud to take care of people they feel very honored to service people. This is what they live for and why they got into this industry in the first place.”

As of Tuesday morning, Bryan had 27 patients confirmed to have COVID-19. 10 were in the intensive care unit and 8 were on ventilators.
